Hoy hemos estado realmente ocupados.

Nuestros estudiantes en grupos internacionales han estado trabajando en el Decálogo. Diez ideas o sugerencias que harán nuestro mundo mejor y que nos guiará como embajadores para no dejar de cuidar nuestro patrimonio cultural y natural.

 Today we have been really busy. 

Our students in international groups have been working on the Decalogue. Ten ideas or suggestions which will make our world much better and which will guide us as ambassadors in order not to give up taking care of cultural and natural heritage. 

Más tarde, algunos estudiantes y profesoras de cada país tuvieron la oportunidad de compartir sus experiencias y opiniones con el resto de la comunidad educativa. Gracias al programa de radio " Erasmus +, movilidad en España". Especial agradecimiento a nuestras jóvenes: Petra, Alicia, Marta y Vita. ¡Vosotros/as sois los verdaderos protagonistas de esta inolvidable aventura!

Later, some representative students and teachers of each country had the chance to share their own experiences and viewpoints with the rest of the educative community thanks to the programme on the radio "Erasmus+, Mobility in Spain". Special gratitude to our teenagers: Petra, Alice, Marta and Vita. You are the real protagonists of this unforgettable adventure!

Mientras tanto, todos nuestros participantes fueron organizados en tres grupos para trabajar en tres talleres de arte y de cocina. Aquí tienen algunas tomas de estos grandes momentos: diseñando sus propios pequeños cabezudos, haciendo cordones de San Blas y cocinando "torrijas". Todos ellos un buen ejemplo de las tradiciones de los pueblos de la zona.

Meanwhile, all of our participants were divided in three groups to work in three art and cooking workshop. Here we have some shots of the those great moments: designing small big-headed guys, making San Blas' cords and cooking "torrijas". All of them stand for a good example of our nearby villages' traditions and cultural heritage.

Antes de abandonar el centro educativo, tuvimos que realizar una evaluación. Cada país tuvo algunos minutos para comentar lo que le había gustado, que más habían disfrutado y qué aspectos deberían corregirse para futuros proyectos. Gracias por vuestras valoradas sugerencias y opiniones positivas.

Before leaving the high school, we had to make our required self-evaluation. Each country had some few minutes to discuss what they had liked,  what they had most enjoyed and what aspects should be improved for future projects. ¡Thanks for your valuable suggestions and positive opinions!

Para terminar nuestro último día, tuvimos mucha suerte de estar juntos en una casa rural junto a la pradera de S. Isidro en Fuente de Cantos. Una vez más, nuestras tradiciones estaban presentes. Allí, todo el mundo pudo degustar platos tradiciones (incluyendo migas) y dulces caseros que habían sido hechos por las familias españolas. Todo fue perfecto y delicioso, incluso el día que nos permitió recordar juegos tradicionales y bailar.

To finish our last day, we were lucky to be together in a rural house next to S. Isidro's meadow or countryside (Fuente de Cantos). Once again our traditions were present. There, everybody could try the traditional dishes (even "migas") and homemade cakes or sweets which had been previously made by the Spanish students' families. Everything was perfect and delicious, even the sunny day which allowed us to play traditional games and dance.

Y no hay palabras para expresar nuestro agradecimiento a Cecilia Domínguez y su familia que nos permitió disfrutar de este último día tan especial en su propia casa.

There are no enough words to express our gratitude to Cecilia Domínguez and her family who let us enjoy this special and last day in their own house.

Y llegó el momento de despedirse de nuestros amigo y amigas de Polonia, Croacia y Eslovenia. Hubo momentos emotivos pero a la vez una pequeña sonrisa se dibujaba en sus caras para agradecer el haber compartido esta experiencia juntos. ¡Nos vemos pronto, chicos y chicas!

And the moment to say goodbye to our Polish, Croatian and Slovanian friends came . There were some emotive moments but at the same, a smile  was also drawn in their faces to say thank you for having shared this experience together. CU soon friends!

20/04/2023 CUARTO DÍA

 

Visitamos la capital de nuestra región, Mérida. Sin lugar a duda, el mejor ejemplo para deleitarnos con los restos más destables de la cultura y civilización romana. El museo, el teatro y el anfiteatro fueron algunos de las referencias arqueológicas que nuestros jóvenes fueron observando mientras realizaban una gymkhana.

Mérida was our next visit.  Without doubt, the best example in our region to find the most outstanding ruins of the Roman civilization. The museum, the theatre and the amphitheatre were some of its landmarks which were watched while another gymkana led to the following historical building.

Y para comprender esta cultura ancestral, los chicos y chicas del proyecto pudieron sentirse como romanos mientras diseñaban y realzaban sus propias piezas de mosaico. Buen trabajo a todos!

And in order to understand this Roman culture, all of our students could feel themselves as genuine Romans by means of designing and making their own pieces of mosaic. Good job!

19/04/2023 WEDNESDAY. VISIT TO CÁCERES

 Visitamos Cáceres. Ciudad medieval  y ciudad de cine. Gracias a sus emblemáticos edificios y encantadoras calles dentro de su zona monumental, multitudes de rodajes cinematográficos han pasado por ella. Quizás "Juego de Tronos" o "la Catedral del Mar" sean las más populares, pero no las únicas.

Esta riqueza monumental también fue explicado por una guía local que nos acompañó y mostró sus hermosas plazas, su museo dedicado a la Semana Santa, declarada de interés cultural, sus aljibes y su museo con diferentes restos arqueológicos pertenecientes a las diferentes civilizaciones que han estado presente en esta ciudad. 

Today we are visiting Cáceres. Medieval town and "city of movie". Thanks to its emblematic buildings and charming streets inside the monumental area, a great amount of shooting films have been present/recorded here. Maybe, "Games of Thrones" or "The Cathedral of the Sea" are the most popular, but not the only ones.

This monumental richness was also explained by a local guide who was with us to show its beautiful squares, its museum devoted to the "Holy Week", its water cisterns along with its local museum with a great variety of archeological remains of the different civilizations which had taken part of this city in the past. 

Y en relación a lo mencionado anteriormente del cine, visitamos el entorno natural de Los Barruecos. "Ruta de los cinco sentidos" que nos invita a recapacitar de la importancia que tiene nuestro entorno natural y qué debemos hacer para seguir manteniendo esta riqueza sin igual.

Closely related to films, above mentioned, we headed for the natural reservoir "Los Barruecos". The "Route of the Five senses" invited us to think over the importance of our nature and our role to keep this natural landscape without any doubt.

18/04/2023 TUESDAY. VISIT TO OLIVENZA

 Visita a Olivenza. Hoy estamos en este pueblo fronterizo con Portugal, tan característico que todavía se puede observar muchas referencias del pueblo vecino. Allí, nuestros estudiantes no sólo han podido disfrutar de sus monumentos y vistas sino también han divertirse mientras diseñaban sus propios muñecos 3D en el Museo de Papercraf. ¡Bien hecho a todos!

Visit to Olivenza. Today we are in this bordered village nearby Portugal, so peculiar that even today we can notice the mixture of both cultures in their streets, monuments, cooking.. There, our students have been able to enjoy their historical buildings and sights along with the realization of their own 3D dummies in the Papercraft Museum. Well done to everybody!

Estas piruletas que dimos a cada alumno incluían códigos QR con videos de toda la visita a Olivenza creados por nuestras alumnas y  una gymkhana para visitar el museo etnográficos.

These lollipops that we gave to each student included QR codes with videos about all the visit to Olivenza made by our pupils and a Gymkhana to go around the etnographic museum.

Pegatinas para las piruletas

Tras este entretenido taller, nuestros estudiantes también aprendieron sobre nuestras tradiciones y costumbres en el museo etnográfico de Olivenza, uno de los más reconocidos de España. La actividad de la Gymkana les permitió aprender mientras competían por completarla lo mejor y antes posible.

After this entertaining workshop, the teenagers could also learn about our traditions and costums by means of a competitive gymkana in the etnographic museum, one of the mos well-known museum of this type in Spain.

¿Sabías que Olivenza tiene una de las plazas de toros más importantes de España? Pues allí estuvimos y los propios estudiantes españoles pudieron contar sus experiencias en este emblemático lugar.

Did you know that Olivenza has got one of the most important bullrings in Spain? And there we went, Here our own students felt comfortable to tell the rest about their own personal experiences in this field. The Polish, Croatian and Slovenian students really appreciated their personal viewpoints.

Ahora es tiempo de recobrar fuerzas antes de dirigirnos a una de las actividades más dinámicas y entretenidas del programa. 

Now, it's time to gather strenght by means of one of the typical Spanish dishes, "la paella". After lunch, they were ready to leave for Barcarrota, where amazing activities were waiting for them.

Después de disfrutar de uno de los platos típicos de España, la paella, los chicos y chicas del proyecto se dirigen a Barcarrota, donde actividades de Multiaventura les esperaban. 

¡Qué buen día pudieron celebrar, sin perdonar un bañito en el embalse de Aguijón!
