VISITA GUIADA A LAS CUEVAS DE ŠKOCJAN CAVES
Comenzamos el día con la visita guiada a las cuevas de Škocjan Caves, reconocido por la UNESCO como Patrimonio de la Humanidad. Un fenómeno natural creado por el río Reka.
We
start our day with a guided tour through the Škocjan Caves, recognized by the UNESCO
as one of the World Heritage. A phenomenon of nature which is still being
carved by the Reka river.
Las
cuevas son especiales por tener el cañon más profundo de Europa con 2.600
metros. También se pueden ver puentes que unen los valles y cascadas naturales.
These caves are characterized by having one
of the greatest and deepest canyons in Europe, actually with 2,600 metres deep.
Besides, we have the chance to cross bridges which join valleys and from we can
see waterfalls with their fresh and crystal waters.
Por la tarde viajamos a Piran, considerado el pueblo más bonito de la costa
eslovena, con sus calles estrechas medievales, plazas, iglesias y
murallas. Este pueblo perteneció a la República de Venecia durante más de cinco
siglos y a la monarquía austro-húngara por más de un siglo. Allí los alumnos
divididos en grupos tenían que trabajar en la elaboración de un vídeo para
promocionar la ciudad.
In the afternoon, we have time
to take a quick walk across Piran, well-known as one of the most beautiful
Slovenian villages on the coast thanks to its medieval narrow streets,
colourful squares, churches and wide rampart. We should add that this village used
to belong to the Venecian Republic for more than five centuries and to the
Austrohungarian monarchy for more than a century.
